BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Greenwell Springs Road that left two people displaced. According to officials, the fire started in the bedroom of an apartment on the second floor. The fire reportedly spread to the closet, but firefighters were able to contain it to that area. The rest of the apartment did suffer smoke and water damage.
