The Least Used Amtrak Station In Washington As Of 2023

VANCOUVER, WA – Amtrak saw significant usage across Washington State in fiscal year 2023, with over 1.1 million passengers using its services.

According to Amtrak, the state is served by two long-distance routes—Coast Starlight and Empire Builder—and state-supported Amtrak Cascades trains, which operate several round trips between cities like Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver, B.C.

According to Amtrak, Seattle’s King Street Station led the state with an impressive 689,710 riders, followed by Vancouver with 87,144 riders and Tacoma at 75,652 riders.

However, not all stations saw such high ridership. Wishram Station, a small stop near the Columbia River Gorge, had the fewest passengers with just 1,072 riders, according to Amtrak.
