EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Aaron Jones traveled back to Green Bay to play at Lambeau Field for the first time since departing from the Packers back in March of this year – playing a vital role in the Vikings win over Jones’ former team on Sunday, 31-29.
The running back collected 93-yards on 22 carries and four receptions for 46-yards. No touchdowns for the El Paso native but the former Packer did run it back for a Lambeau Leap to celebrate the Vikings win continuing its perfect 4-0 start to the season.
An emotional day for Jones who spent the last seven years, his entire professional career, with Green Bay before heading to Minnesota.
Vikings will be taking its talents overseas to take on the New York Jets in London on Sunday, October 6th at 7:30 a.m. MT.
