Taylor Swift appears to be taking a week off from watching boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in person, but the timing or her absence is turning some heads online.
Swift was not seen as the Chiefs traveled to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers on September 29. The pop superstar had already skipped the team’s Week 3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, with a source saying she had scheduled some time with friends.
“Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid, whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while,” a source close to the singer told The U.S. Sun .
The source added that Swift was expected to return for the team’s Week 4 game, but she was not seen entering SoFi Stadium and not shown on the television broadcast.
As The Daily Mail noted , some fans took note of the curious timing of Swift’s apparent absence. The game is played one day after a leaked document claiming they had a planned breakup announcement on September 28.
