While recovery from Hurricane Helene’s impacts continue in the Southeast, residents living in the Gulf Coast region will need to be ready for the next potential storm in early October. The next two weeks may keep meteorologists busy at the National Hurricane Center as three systems are active in the Atlantic Ocean and two more may form in the Gulf of Mexico.
