With the camera right in his face following his only touchdown pass of the San Francisco 49ers’ blowout win over the New England Patriots , Brock Purdy remembered to think of mom.
Purdy offered a friendly wave and the classic ‘hi mom!’ as the cameras captured his reaction following George Kittle’s spectacular touchdown reception.
Momma Purdy was quick to respond, reposting the clip to her Instagram story with the caption “love you too babe”.
Later, she posted a picture to social media of herself and the rest of the Purdy family in front of the TV, which was paused at the point where Purdy offered a friendly greeting following Kittle’s spectacular touchdown reception.
With the 49ers going two of four in the red zone and Purdy picked in the endzone on an ill-advised throw into double coverage, it’s clear he still has things he can work on as he looks to get back to the Super Bowl.
But in addition to having an excellent supporting cast around him on offense, it is clear he enjoys the heartwarming support of his family.
