At about 6:44 am on September 26, 2024, Denton Fire/EMS and Police were dispatched to a serious casualty along West University Blvd (Highway 360) at Western Blvd just west of Interstate 35.
Police say the driver of a sedan was westbound on Highway 380, attempting to turn left onto Western Blvd. As he initiated the turn, he was struck by a pickup truck traveling eastbound on Highway 380.
The driver of the sedan was transported to the Medical City of Denton but was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Ho Lim In, a 50-year-old man from Aubrey.
The driver of the other vehicle was not seriously hurt.
Roads were shut down throughout the morning while Denton police examined the scene.
