The Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred Sunday evening in Anne Arundel County. A 32-year-old woman was struck and killed by a Maryland State Police Trooper on Solomons Island Road near Route 50. Emergency medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her family.
