Dallas Police officer shoots at pack of aggressive dogs, killing 1, officials say

DALLAS – A dog was shot and killed by police after a group of five aggressive dogs charged at officers, Dallas police said. Officers were called to reports of an animal attack around 9:37 a.m., Sept. 29 in the 2800 block of Sargent Road, near Sargent Park, according to a press release from Dallas Police. When officers arrived they found five aggressive dogs who had already bitten one person, the release states.
