READING, Pa. – A longtime judge who spent decades on the bench in Berks County has died. Judge Linda K. M. Ludgate passed away Thursday at Reading Hospital at the age of 82. Ludgate received a degree from Alvernia College in 1977 and graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, receiving her JD in 1980.
