Caldwell County senior Collin Whittington used “boring golf” to shoot a 75 at Wednesday’s Region 1 Golf Tournament at Calvert City Country Club. The 3-over-par total not only earned him a tie for seventh-place in the regional, but earned him a spot in the State First Round tournament at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
