As QuikTrip continues to roll out its latest rewards program in the 18 states where the Tulsa-based company operates, it’s now Wichita’s turn.
For years, lots of Wichitans have used QuikTrip rewards cards to swipe for gasoline and in-store purchases to build points for future fuel savings.
It was a test program that never extended beyond Wichita.
Now, QuikTrip is about halfway through rolling out a new rewards plan via the QuikTrip app. The old cards are now obsolete in Wichita.
Note: If you have reward points on your existing card, they will be good for a year — until Sept. 30, 2025 — so don’t throw them away just yet.
“Now, we’re changing that to something totally different,” said QuikTrip spokeswoman Aisha Jefferson. “Now, it’s every time you go you’re going to get the rewards instantly.”
Instead of QuikTrip rewards, it’s called QT Pay.
That means instead of building up points over time, customers will be able to access savings immediately by paying through the QuikTrip app if they’ve added their checking account to it.
