Happy Monday!
I hope you didn’t put your flip-flops away. Summer will return to the forecast for the first week of October.
Monday morning will start foggy in spots. Visibility is reduced across the area, but not enough for a Dense Fog Advisory.
Monday is the last day of September and we will see calm conditions and warm temperatures.
October begins on Tuesday and it will be our only day of cooler, more seasonal temperatures. A dry cold front will slide through the area bringing more fall-like temperatures. Beyond Tuesday, we will see temperatures close to 10° above average through the work week.
Parts of the Ozarks desperately need rain and there is no good chance for precipitation over the next week. High pressure will be in control, leaving us high and dry.
