Amber Guyger, former Dallas cop convicted for Botham Jean’s murder, eligible for parole on his birthday

DALLAS – Amber Guyger, the former Dallas police officer convicted of 26-year-old Botham Jean’s murder, is eligible for parole on what would have been his 33rd birthday. Jean was was shot and killed in his own apartment on Sept. 6, 2018 in a case that ignited a national controversy.
