OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) – The Okeechobee County sheriff is asking residents to come together to help those in Taylor County affected by Hurricane Helene. An Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) retired deputy reached out to his old coworkers about the immense damage in Taylor County, where he now lives.
