(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) has a new hotel for its furry friends to play in thanks to the help of a YouTuber.
According to HSPPR, YouTuber Matthew Beem and his team built a 5-star luxury dog hotel for the pets at HSPPR that included slides, a small pool, luxury rooms, a spa, and other amenities for the animals.
“For the location for our five-star hotel we found an animal shelter with some of the most deserving dogs,” said Matthew Beem in the video , which follows Beem and his friends as they built the hotel.
FOX21 News reached out to Cheyanne from the Beem Team, who had visited the FOX21 studio with Cody Costra from HSPPR during the “Pet of the Week” segment and featured it in the YouTube video.
She said they chose HSPPR because “when Matthew was growing up, he got multiple lifelong pets from this organization. We really love that this organization gives these animals a second chance and does everything it can to give them a good life.”
