This baked spaghetti recipe is one of my go to’s when it comes to italian food. This recipe is just a different take on a simple spaghetti meal. You will need the following ingredients:
Recipe:
1 jar of spaghetti meat sauce (I use homcanned)
1/2 pound of spaghetti or your favorite pasta
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
1 cup of parmesan cheese
Optional: 1 cup of ricotta or cottage cheese
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain.
When the pasta is cooked through add the spaghetti sauce and 1 cup of mozzarella and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese and stir until this is mixed together. Tip If you are adding the ricotta or cottage cheese go ahead and add it now.
Pour this mixture into a greased 9 x 9 baking dish and then add the other cup of mozzarella cheese and the 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Bake this for 30 -35 minutes or until the spaghetti is heated throughout and the cheese is brown and bubbly.
