FRESNO, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced it has created over 14,000 construction jobs through continued progress on a high-speed rail system. California High-Speed Rail Authority CEO Ian Choudri said, “The progress made on this historic project is thanks to the skilled men and women dispatched to high-speed rail construction sites every day. There is no question that transportation projects like this one create good-paying jobs, and I’m proud to continue building upon the work already done to advance construction in the Central Valley and the rest of California.”
