Illinois pizza deliveryman shot dead in front of sister who was pistol-whipped by robbers who lured them to home

Chicago police are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed a pizza deliveryman while on the job with his sister.

Steven Cotner and his sister, Allison, were delivering pizza for Windy City Pizza Works in Calumet City on Thursday when they were called to make a delivery on the 400 block of Merrill Avenue around 8 p.m. But it turned out the call was a set up for an armed robbery .

“He has the gun pointed at me and he goes, ‘Give me the money!'” Allison Cotner told CBS News Chicago. “And I said, ‘I don’t have no money.'” “And then I’m like: ‘Please don’t shoot me! I just told you I have no money!'” Cotner added. “I’m like I’m screaming.”

But despite her pleas the two teens, who were dressed all in black and only had their eyes visible, pointed their guns at her. One of the men used the grip of their gun to hit her in the left eye, leaving a bruise and causing her to get two stitches.
