NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Since October 2022, more than 100 of Nashville’s “Most Wanted” fugitives have been taken off the streets.
Whether it be due to tips, investigative work, or in some cases, the suspects turning themselves in, Metro Nashville police have touted a high success rate when it comes to arrests from the program. Next month, it will have been two years since the first list was put out on Oct. 19.

Several of the cases listed have been those in which detectives hit a dead end after years of searching for a suspect. But with new tips constantly funneling in with each new list posted every Wednesday, officials have said the program has been helpful in tracking down many of those suspects who are considered to be some of the city’s “most violent” offenders.
Often the crimes they’re accused of committing range from homicide to various sex crimes.
Very few of the people who were listed when the program first began almost two years ago are still at large. However, there are a handful of suspects on the “Most Wanted” list who have been on the run for nearly a year, or close to two years in some cases.
