Shania Twain Serves Up Six Stunning Looks As PCCA Host

Under the historic lights of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, Shania Twain was lowered to the stage during an entrance to remember Thursday night for the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards. The country music legend told People she was excited to host as a way to present country music the way she likes it – filled with glamorous attire. Although there was no actual Shania Twain performance, the “That Don’t Impress Me Much” artist put her all into delivering as host for the awards show.

Let’s Go, Girl

Shania Twain’s opening act was over the top. Sitting in a heart-shaped silhouette, Twain made her grand entrance to the Grand Ole Opry in a head-to-toe white fringe ensemble into a heart-shaped group of male dancers to the tune of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” One on the historic Nashville stage, she proudly declared, “That’s how Shania Twain enters a room.”

The Rolling Stone reported that the entrance was a “mega-tease” that left many audience members, including Machine Gun Kelly, wanting more. The song was described as a “country clarion call.” It seemed like she would sing at least the song’s chorus. However, she welcomed the audience to Nashville and got the show underway.
