PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced today that closures at Lindsay Road and Arizona Avenue will be in effect as part of the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive.
These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge work and other construction activities, according to ADOT.
Weekend Closure (Oct. 4-7)
- Lindsay Road will be closed at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
- The Loop 202 on- and off-ramps at Lindsay Road will remain open.
Detours
- Northbound: Use Germann Road to Val Vista Drive or Gilbert Road to access Lindsay Road north of the closure.
- Southbound: Use Pecos Road to Val Vista Drive or Gilbert Road to access Lindsay Road south of the closure.
Weeknight Closures (Sept. 30-Oct. 5)
- Northbound Arizona Avenue will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Monday, Sept. 30, through Saturday, Oct. 5.
- The Loop 202 on- and off-ramps at Arizona Avenue will remain open.
- Rolling lane closures on Loop 202 will also be in effect during this period.
