USGS advises of low-flying planes over Missouri for survey

If you see low-flying planes over Missouri over the next eight months or so, it’s likely nothing to worry about, as they’re working for the U.S. Geological Survey. The planes are part of a survey project looking at the geology of the Ozark Plateau, the USGS said in a news release. The survey will look at areas of Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas starting in early October.
