DES MOINES, Iowa – Gov. Kim Reynolds announced Monday that she authorized the deployment of a team from the Iowa National Guard to assist those impacted by Hurricane Helene. On X, Reynolds announced Iowa would send an Iowa Army National Guard helicopter, crew and swift water rescue team to join in response efforts.
