St. Lucie Mechanics Save Dog Trapped In Grill Of Vehicle

A group of mechanics in Port St. Lucie are being hailed as heroes after saving a dog that was trapped inside a vehicle.

A woman says she hit a dog while driving and couldn’t find the animal. Turns out, the dog was trapped inside the grill of the car. Animal Control went with her to St. Lucie Battery and Tire where the mechanics got right to it, freeing the dog by removing the under-shield.

One worker says the dog basically broke through the bumper and was sitting under that shield but was unharmed.
