West Allis skating rink shooting; plea deal reached

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – A woman charged with shooting and wounding two people at a West Allis roller rink in February reached a plea deal on Monday, Sept. 30. Ashley Jones, 32, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree reckless injury. Three other charges – first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and two counts of shooting a gun towards a building and people – were dismissed and read into the court record for the purposes of sentencing.
