Today’s not just any Taco Tuesday.
It’s National Taco Day. That’s thanks to Taco Bell and the National Day Calendar moving the foodie holiday to the first Tuesday of October, ensuring that Taco Tuesday always falls on a Tuesday.
Until 2024, National Taco Day was Oct. 4 on the National Day Calendar, an enterprise that promotes recognition of products and causes for businesses, groups and other organizations.
Taco Bell $1 tacos

The chain will keep the celebration going all month with offers each Tuesday, including opportunities to get exclusive merch, free tacos for a year and a VIP visit to Taco Bell’s Test Kitchen to taste innovations.
On Oct. 22, Taco Bell will serve select items for $1 each, including Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, Cheese Quesadilla, Burrito Supreme, Beefy 5 Layer Burrito, Regular Nacho Fries, DLT Supreme and Chalupa.
