Two people from Sinclairville face numerous charges following a vehicle pursuit that began in Chautauqua County and ended in Warren County, Pennsylvania on Saturday and led to the suspect vehicle crashing. Pennsylvania State Police in Warren confirm the incident, which was reported on Route 62 near North Warren shortly before 7:00 PM. Troopers say the chase originated after a traffic stop in Chautauqua County, where 45-year-old Nathan Klein allegedly assaulted a County Sheriff’s deputy and fled into the Warren area. Troopers reported spotting Klein’s SUV near the North Warren Wal-Mart. They tried to make a stop, but Klein would not stop in the store’s parking lot and drove over the median and back onto Route 62. He proceeded north, reaching speeds over 90 MPH. A trooper tried to pull in front of the vehicle near the Conewango Valley Country Club, but Klein swerved, and the SUV crashed. Nathan and his front seat passenger, 29-year-old Rebekah Klein, allegedly became combative with police, and stun guns had to be used on both. Three children in the car — ages 6, 4 and 1 — were injured. None of the three was in a child safety seat. Nathan faces 26 charges, including 20 felonies, plus 14 traffic violations. Rebekah faces 17 counts, including four felonies; she is accused of attacking one trooper with a wooden sword. Both were arraigned in Warren County Court. Nathan was jailed on $200,000 cash bail, while Rebekah was jailed on $150,000 bail.
