ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The death of a bear in the Brooks River, downriver from the Brooks Falls in the Katmai National Park, prompted Katmai National Park & Preserve to postpone the Fat Bear Week bracket reveal until Oct. 1 at 3 p.m., the agency wrote in a press release.
