Kansans can apply to state school for free Oct. 7-9

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — From Oct. 7 through Oct. 9, Kansans can apply to attend any of the state’s colleges and universities for free.

It’s part of the Kansas Board of Regents Apply Free Days program. Under the program, any Kansas resident, regardless of age, can apply to any of the state’s seven public universities, 19 community colleges, six technical colleges, and 21 institutions that are part of the Kansas Independent College Association .

Application fees are waived for any certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree program offered by any of the Kansas institutions. Graduate programs and other mid-level degree programs do not qualify.
