Last Tuesday, a routine shopping trip turned critical at the Spanaway Walmart, when deputies from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department intervened in what could have been a deadly encounter. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, loss prevention officers alerted deputies about a man who acted suspiciously, removing tags from clothing, and prompting a request for the individual to be banned from the premises.
