Newark’s Prudential Center to offer new menu items with a ‘Jersey’ twist

A new upgrade for fans is taking place at the Prudential Center and it’s uniquely Jersey! The Pier Club is located at the VIP Hall and will soon offer a new tier of food for visitors to enjoy – Eastback Kitchen. “It’s our brand new white label hospitality culinary brand with Levy’s,” said Dana Seiden, vice president of Partnerships for New Jersey Devils Prudential Center. This new launch is part of a rollout of enhancements to further elevate Newark’s Prudential Center. Additionally, there’s a meaning behind the name. “The street behind the Prudential Center used to be called Eastback Street. Everything came through there, so we wanted to honor that tradition,” said Chef Aron Zaks, executive chef of Eastback Kitchen. It’s like a Jersey Shore boardwalk on a plate— Jersey dogs, cheesesteaks, funnel cake and french fries. “Taylor ham, egg and cheese – pork roll and egg and cheese – whatever you want to call it,” said Seidon. “We still have our staples, which we’ll always have – but we hear our feedback and we wanted to take advantage of all the renewed space in the building.” “I’ve been in Jersey 41 years. Although I didn’t originally come from here, we want a good product on the ice. We can get good food here,” said former New Jersey Devil player Ken Daneyko. There will be over 20 new offerings on the menu, so come hungry! ”
