Little Rock police, Pulaski County deputies in standoff at west Little Rock home

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police and deputies are involved in a standoff at a west Little Rock home Tuesday morning.

Dozens of units from the Little Rock Police Department and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Calgary Trail, just a few blocks off of Kanis Road.

Officials with the sheriff’s office said an eviction notice was being served by a deputy when someone started firing gunshots from inside the house.

SWAT officers have been called to the scene. There is no word at this time from LRPD or PCSO officials if anyone was hit by the gunfire or if there are any other injuries at the scene.
