On Saturday, Sept. 28, guests to the Carrollton Downtown Square immersed themselves in an educational experience at the inaugural Carrollton Culture Festival. The event, previously known as the World of Foodies event, filled downtown Carrollton with food, festivities and experiences from different cultures around the globe. Various vendor booths were set up with products from all around the world, from African-inspired clothing to locally-produced honey. In the event’s sixth edition and first under the new name, hundreds of fans attended with friends, family and pets.
