2 hurt in multi-vehicle crash that briefly blocked downtown traffic

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A collision sent an SUV off the road and close to a building on 23rd and L Streets Tuesday morning and injured at least two people.

The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. in downtown Bakersfield. The impact from the crash pushed an SUV up to the New City Cleaners building, shattering a window in the process.

According to a 17 News photojournalist, emergency crews treated two men for their injuries. The men were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
