CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s Big Y’s 4th annual ‘Vax Week,’ so if you know you need a vaccination, now is the time to go and get it.
Massachusetts lawmakers demand answers on price-gouging study between Stop & Shop locations
Vaccinations will be administered in all 74 Big Y locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut for the entire week!
Big Y is offering the seasonal flu vaccine, the new COVID-19 vaccine, and the updated booster. Big Y Stores with a pharmacy will also have vaccinations for RSV, Shingles, HPV, MMR and pneumonia.
This is a community event where patients can get up to date with their vaccines. Last year, during this Vax free week the Big Y administered more than 19 thousand flu and covid vaccines.
“As pharmacists, we are the most accessible healthcare providers so we find that it is super important that we are able to offer these seasonal vaccines especially coming up on flu, covid, rsv season,” says Elaine Zimnoski,
Patients who get their vaccine from the pharmacist will get a Big Y Coupon for $5 off of a minimum $25 purchase as well as some other free giveaways. So keep in mind that October 6th is the last day to get those vaccinations at Big Y and no appointments are needed.
