ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A 2021 report from the Indian Affairs Department shows the numbers of missing and murdered Indigenous people across New Mexico from 2014 to 2019. After this point, the way agencies approached these cases changed. Now, they say they stand by the work that’s being done to address an issue as complex as this in the state.
