Task Forces Recover $200,000 in Stolen Property in East Fort Worth, Suspect Identified in Regional Auto Crime Effort

In a joint effort that highlights the scale of auto crimes in the region, the Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force, in collaboration with the Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force and the Fort Worth Police Department Patrol Division, conducted a search warrant in east Fort Worth, unearthing a trove of stolen property. The operation, which took place in the 4200 block of Hilldale, resulted in the recovery of heavy equipment and trailers with a combined value of an estimated $200,000. These items had been reported stolen from various cities including Crowley, Dallas, Lewisville, Sulphur Springs, and Texarkana.
