Over the last few days, the Loudon County community has rallied around victims of Hurricane Helene — collecting donations and volunteering time and energy to help rebuild and aid what was lost in East Tennessee.
Although Loudon County wasn’t affected as dramatically as surrounding East Tennessee communities, other than excess river water flowing through the Fort Loudoun Lock over the weekend, many nevertheless felt the impact of the damages from family members or beloved places that were flooded and washed away.
