Hundreds of dockworkers on strike in Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – Mobile dockworkers joined the massive strike that’s shutting down ports across the East Coast and Gulf Coast. The International Longshoremen’s Association and the United States Maritime Alliance failed to reach an agreement on better wages and automation. Workers walked off the job at 12:01 Tuesday morning and already it’s having an impact. At APM Terminals, the cranes aren’t moving. Containers are parked in the lot.
