INDIANAPOLIS – Those driving to their homes on Leland Avenue Monday afternoon were greeted by the Marion County coroner and police. Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sept. 30, IMPD officers responded to the 3400 block of North Leland Avenue, near East 34th Street and Emerson Avenue, for a death investigation. Officers found a man “in a decomposed state,” a department spokesperson said in a statement.
