A Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy sustained undisclosed but minor injuries in an apparent standoff at a Godfrey home Tuesday afternoon. According to information from the Sheriff’s office, deputies, while at a residence in the 4800 block of Storyland Drive, unincorporated Alton, attempted to take a suspect into custody who is reportedly armed with a knife and attempting to force his way into a residence.
