Amid second rate hike in 2 years, is TVA using enough green energy to cut customer costs?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) – The Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) second rate hike, for the second year in a row, went into effect Tuesday, amounting to a 5.25% increase. Add that TVA’s 4.5% hike from last year, and you’re looking at paying nearly 10% more on your bill, or $8.61 on average, per month. That’s more than $103 each year.
