Pennsylvania Postal Workers rally for better staffing and standards

SUSQUEHANNA TWP., Pa. (WHTM) – The American Postal Workers Union organized rallies across the country on October 1. Some who participated traveled from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to the United States Postal Service on Crooked Hill Rd. in Dauphin County.

Picket signs included messages like, “Better Staffing is Better Service.” Rally chants included phrases like “down with DeJoy.”

Despite numerous concerns, the union wants to make it clear that election mail, like mail-in ballots, will not be delayed. In fact, 99 percent of it gets delivered within three days.
