LFR looking for arsonist who set off multiple fires in Central Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who is connected to setting off multiple dumpster fires in Central Lubbock.

According to a press release from LFR, firefighters responded to four dumpster fires, all within 1 hour span on Saturday, Sept. 26. Through investigation, the LFR Fire Marshal’s Office believe all these dumpster fires are connected to one another and bear the same suspect.

  • 1715 22nd Street at 12:55 a.m.
  • 3500 Avenue P at 1:22 a.m.
  • 3300 Avenue p at 1:48 a..m.
  • 1715 22nd Street at 1:51 a.m.
