MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison’s State Street Pedestrian Mall Experiment will wrap up near the end of October, city officials announced Tuesday. Since May, the experiment closed off the 400 through 600 blocks of State to all non-emergency vehicles and allowed for pedestrians, bike riders and others to use the space for most of the day.
