BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – The Boynton Beach Police Department is launching an initiative to keep bicyclists and pedestrians safe. BBPD says the initiative is called High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) which will be launched along North Congress Ave, from Ocean Boulevard to Old Boynton Beach Road. The police department says the roadway has seen a high volume of crashes that have resulted in serious or deadly injuries for bicyclists and pedestrians in the past four years.
