Mayor Eric Adams gave a thumbs-up as he returned Oct. 2 to Manhattan federal court to an abundance of hecklers. Prosecutors said he will likely face an expanded indictment accusing him of taking bribes and illegal campaign contributions.

“Resign! The whole administration,” one man raged. “Criminal. You’re a criminal. You’re a sellout. Resign, sucker.”
