Wake Forest University cancer research in space could help life on Earth

(WGHP) — In the FOX8 House Call, research from Winston-Salem is heading to the International Space Station. It’s a project that could have an impact on cancer patients here on Earth.

Dr. Shay Soker, the project leader at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, explains why this is one of only five projects chosen by the ISS National Lab.
