MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officers with the Mobile Police Department are investigating after a man was injured when his vehicle was shot into early Tuesday morning.
According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the area of Broad Street and Texas Street for a report of a shooting around 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 1.

When they arrived, officers said they found that a man was driving in the area when the vehicle was hit.
The victim drove himself to the hospital and was treated for minor injuries, according to the release.
This is an active investigation.
